The graphics engine, developed by Third Wire, is optimized for rendering scenes with high poly count in full 32-bit color. This game utilizes an all-new "next-generation" graphics engine using DirectX 8.1. Most air battles involve visceral, in-your-face gunfights, and your skill at outmaneuvering your opponents remains the key to victory and survival. Strike Fighters is a multi-faceted flight-simulation game that features one of the most versatile combat aircraft of all time - the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II.
